BUDAPEST, Hungary — The International Dart Federation successfully concluded its Budapest Championship on February 14, 2026, at the Récsei Center. The two-day event, which featured Men's Singles, Women's Singles, and Draw Your Partner (DYP) competitions, drew strong participation from across the region and showcased the growing popularity of darts in Central Europe.
Men's competition: Croatian dominance
The men's singles event resulted in a historic clean sweep for Croatia. Tihomir Marjan claimed the gold medal following a hard-fought final against compatriot Daniel Bortolic. Mario Cegir secured the bronze medal to complete an all-Croatian podium—the first such achievement for the nation in an IDF-sanctioned championship.
