IDF Mourns the Loss of WFDF Secretary General Volker Bernardi

The International Dart Federation (IDF) joins the international sports community in mourning the passing of Volker Bernardi, Secretary General of the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF).

Volker was an outstanding leader whose deep expertise, wise counsel, and commitment to good governance benefited not only WFDF but many international federations. His openness to dialogue and his invaluable suggestions made him a trusted voice in the global sports movement.

For the International Dart Federation, Volker’s example of professionalism and integrity has been a source of inspiration in strengthening our own structures and governance. His passing is a profound loss, yet his legacy will continue to guide our work in building a transparent and inclusive sports community.
