The International Dart Federation (IDF) is pleased to announce an official partnership with the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS). The agreement was formally signed by IDF CEO and Secretary General Marco Tomasini, together with FICS President Dr Martin Isaksson and Secretary-General Dr Brian Nook.

Under this Memorandum of Understanding, all major international IDF competitions will now include a team of sports chiropractors certified by FICS. These practitioners will provide professional care for all athletes, ensuring that participants from every nation have equitable access to high-quality healthcare services during events.
The International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS) is a global organization dedicated to delivering sports chiropractic care to athletes at international competitions. FICS-certified practitioners are trained to provide specialized support that promotes performance, recovery, and athlete well-being. Beyond serving competitors, FICS also extends its services to coaches, officials, and volunteers, recognizing the vital contribution each makes to the success of sporting events. FICS is an IOC Recognised Organisation.

Commenting on this milestone, IDF CEO Marco Tomasini stated:
“This collaboration with FICS marks an important step forward for darts on the international stage. Ensuring that our athletes have access to expert healthcare services is a fundamental priority for IDF. With FICS, we are not only safeguarding the health and well-being of our competitors but also reinforcing our commitment to professionalism, inclusivity, and the continued growth of darts as a global sport.”
IDF is proud to partner with FICS in upholding these values, central to international sport and to the sustainable development of darts worldwide.
