WSDC - Clarification and executive summary

IDF is happy to support the members adding an executive summary of the lat two press release and supporting the members on their common questions.

Anyway, we kindly request all the delegation to read both of them.

LICENSE

To participate in IDF Tournaments it is requested to hold one of the two available licenses.

ALL THE LICENSES MUST BE TAKEN USING THE NEW IDF SOFTWARE


IDF Licenses

· Players are allowed to participate to all the IDF Events

· Only for player with WADA ADEL Certificate

· 25,00 Euro per year per Player to have the License

· Player must be registered at national level

· Full set of data of the player

o   Name

o   Surname

o   Email

o   Date of birth

o   Place of birth

o   Nationality

o   Gender

o   Passport Number

o   Date of expiration of Passport

o   WADA Certificate (to be uploaded) - This requirement is suspended till the end of the season

o   Other optional data as agreed in the past (See the previous Excel Spreadsheet)

· Athletes can participate to Pro League

· Player needs to be registered inside the IDF Software and approved by the national federations

· The license is expiring after 365 days it has been paid


Pro License

· Possibility to participate to Side Events and PRO Events only

· No WADA ADEL Certificate requested

· Free of Charge License

· Player must be registered at national level

· The license is expiring every year on the 31st of December

· Only few information from player needed:

o Name

o Surname

o Email

o Date of Birth

o Gender

o Nationality

· Player needs to be registered inside the IDF Software and approved by the national federations


Licenses, both Pro and International one, can be done ONLY online using the IDF Software.

To get the license, players need to contact their national federation.

If no national federation is available in the country, in case even a contact person has not been appointed, players can contact the IDF directly to register themselves as an International Athlete under IDF.

Players, to get the license, must be approved by the national federation.

Registration inside the competition is not possible without a valid License.

If a player comes to the competition without a valid license, it is possible that the player can request the license at the competition fulfilling the online procedure.

The license will not be issued till the approval of the national federation.

Till the federation approval the status will be pending and the player cannot be registered into any competition.

It is requested by each national federation to monitor the pending request to allow their player to compete and to secure them the proper license on time.


THE LOCAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE HAS NO INFLUENCE ON THIS PROCEDURE.

The Software house is not liable to upload your data and cannot force the system to accept athletes with missing information.


REGISTRATION OF COMPETITORS AND OF TEAMS

Teams must be registered before the competition and the deadline is the 30th of September.

Some countries requested additional slots relating to WCH BULL-SHOOTER TOURNAMENTS


We are happy to provide the updated version.


Men´s competitions:

  • 4 nominated – Italy, Spain, Germany, Czechia, Switzerland, Slovakia, Croatia, Luxemburg, Belgium, Austria

  • 2 nominated – all the others nations


Women´s competitions:

  • 2 nominated –  Italy, Spain, Germany, Czechia, Switzerland, Slovakia, Croatia, Luxemburg, Belgium, Austria

  • 1 nominated – all the others nations


If more countries need exemption please send us a written communication as soon as possible. The deadline is the 20 of September.


THE REGISTRATION FOR TEAMS EVENT IS COMPULSORY

IT IS POSSIBLE TO REGISTER DIRECTLY AT THE COMPETITION VENUE, IF THE ATHLETE IS HOLDING A VALID LICENSE


A PRE-REGISTRATION IS POSSIBLE, SPECIFICALLY IF YOU NEED TO RECEIVE A VISA INVITATION LETTER OR ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS FOR YOUR NSA AND NOC

Registrations are managed directly by the LOC (Local Organizing Committee) sending an email to wsdc@idfdarts.org


ELIGIBILITY OF THE ATHLETES

All participants must meet the following conditions:

1. A person can either play in an official IDF Events for

(a) the IDF Member of his/her nationality provided he/she didn’t play for another IDF Member Body for at least three (3) years immediately prior to the date of the IDF Events in question or,

(b) the IDF Member of his/her residence provided that he/she has resided within the national entity represented by that IDF Member for at least three (3) years immediately prior to the date of events in question and didn’t play for the IDF Member of his/her nationality or another IDF Member for at least three (3) years immediately prior to the date of the event in question.

2. In the case where two or more IDF Members are situated within one national entity, the above requirement shall be interpreted as residence in the national entity.

3. A IDF Member may impose additional eligibility requirements for its players.

4. A person, eligible to play for a IDF Member, who moves from the country represented by that IDF Member, shall remain eligible to play for that IDF Member until such time as he or she meets the Eligibility requirements of another IDF Member.

5. Any person who has played for a Member in an official IDF event shall not play for another Member in an official IDF event earlier than the third calendar year after the last year in which he or she played for the former Member.

6. It is the responsibility of the officials of a player’s respective IDF Member to check and properly verify the eligibility of a player to represent that darts body in an IDF event.

7. In the instance of a dispute arising in regard to this clause, the context shall be put to the IDF Executive for a ruling, which shall be final and binding.


QUESTIONS RELATING TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS

Only the Sport Director is allowed to reply on questions relating to the Rules and Regulations of the Tournaments.

THE LOC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TOPIC RELATING TO THE SPORT RULES AND REGULATIONS. MEMBERS OF THE BOARD ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE AS WELL.

PLEASE USE ONLY THIS COMMUNICATION CHANNEL.

Replies given by different stakeholders or using different communication channels are not going to be considered during the competition.

ACCOMMODATION

IDF is not responsible and is not involved in any way with the accommodation services provided.

We have no private contact with the structure and we booked our own rooms following the procedure that is requested in the following press release: https://www.softdarts.sport/post/idf-world-soft-darts-championships-1

It is not compulsory to use the suggested rooms from the LOC.


VISA LETTERS AND OTHER CERTIFICATIONS

IDF is not responsible and is not involved in these procedures.

After a team or the individual athletes have completed the pre-registration (License + Registration using the proper email), they can request to the Local Organizing Committee to issue Visa Letters, Invitation Letters and other certifications relating the registration inside the tournaments to get funds from the National Sport Authorities and National Olympic Committees, even including the letters to any other scope.

FIRST BULLETIN

THE FIRST PUBLISHED DOCUMENT WAS THE FIRST BULLETIN OF THE LOC AND IN SOME PARTS HAVE BEEN CHANGED. PLEASE TAKE IN CONSIDERATION THE NEW OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM IDF AND THE NEW PUBLISHED RULES AND REGULATIONS. THE UNCHANGED PART ARE STILL VALID (SPECIFICALLY IT HAS BEEN UPDATED THE REGISTRATION PROCESS AND THE TEAMS NUMBERS AS PER THIS EMAIL AND IT HAS BEEN ISSUED THE OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS ACCORDING TO THE WDF STANDARDS).
