World Soft Dart Championships – License and Registration Procedures

The International Dart Federation (IDF) announces the official procedures for player registration and participation in the upcoming World Soft Dart Championships.

All players holding an IDF International License or an IDF Pro License receives their personal credentials by email to access the IDF online portal. Within the personal area, each player can download their digital license, which must always be kept available and shown during competitions.


To register for individual tournaments, players must have a valid IDF Player Card, required to upload their registration through the Cyberdine terminals like in the past. Cyberdine Player Cards are not valid for this event, as it is an official IDF tournament.

The IDF Player Card can be downloaded directly from the personal area of the IDF portal and used in digital format on one’s smartphone, without the need for printing.


After downloading the IDF Player Card, players can continue to register for their desired tournament using the standard procedure through the Cyberdine terminals.


Players who do not yet hold an IDF License (either Pro or International) need to go at the area where are the termianls at the competition venue, scan the specific QR code to create a new license, and complete the online license registration process.

Payment may also be made in cash directly to the Sport Director or an appointed delegate or online to speed up the process.


The license will be issued only after approval from the player’s national federation. Such approval may also be granted on-site during the tournament, authorizing the Sport Director or delegate to validate the application thanks to the approval of a manager of the national federation.

Once approved, the license will be issued together with the IDF Player Card.


Tournament registration using the software will be allowed only from the day following the issuance of both the license and the player card.

The same rule applies for license upgrades: a player wishing to upgrade from an IDF Pro License to an IDF International License — in order to participate in IDF international tournaments — may register for the desired event starting from the day after the upgrade has been successfully completed through their personal account on the IDF portal.


National federation can do all the procedures, including the one to print licenses and player card, from the software having full access to the players profile.


Players that have not fulfilled the request of data from the software are going to be deleted from the final chart after the competition. IDF will wait for 2 weeks to give enough time to fulfill the requests.
